Make your own Washi !
On the first floor we have a specially prepared area where you can try your hand at making your very own original washi masterpiece. This is a great way to not only experience one of japan’s traditional arts first hand using centuries old techniques, but also to make a one of a kind souvenir for yourself or to take home to family and friends . Kamisuki is a simple and safe experience that can be enjoyed by individuals or groups and is the perfect way to teach children about the history and value of something that they use everyday yet take for granted.
• Kamisuki Workshops are held twice a day and last for approximately 1 and half hours.
=Morning session 10:30~12:00 - - - - =Afternoon session 13:30~15:00
• Price includes all the materials and instruction* to make approximately 3 A4 size sheets of washi.
